As a member, you will have the opportunity to help us organize networking opportunities, workshops, and events that will help our members develop their business acumen and connect with industry leaders.
Social Media Assistant
Algoma University Business Society is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Assistant to join our team. As a Social Media Assistant, you will be responsible for managing our social media platforms and growing our club’s online presence, engaging with our community, and promoting the exciting activities and achievements of our club.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the manager in creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook).

Monitor and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.

Assist in capturing and posting event highlights through photos and videos.

Help track social media analytics to improve engagement and future posts.

Contribute to the development of social media campaigns for events and activities.

Write up content for social media posts.

Responsible for putting up posters around campus.

Support and promote club partners when needed.

Report directly to the VP of Marketing

Eligibility:
-
Currently enrolled as a student at Algoma University.
-
Knowledge of social media trends.
-
Familiarity with design tools like Canva and Adobe.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
-
A keen eye for design and an understanding of elementary colour theory and composition

Time Commitment:

3-5 hours per week.

Flexible hours during activities and events.
